ABOUT THE MISSION:

We are looking to hire an elite and uncommon Digital Graphic Designer with a passion for digital media… an uncommon thinker who loves to create amazing digital experiences. We're looking for a badass creative who can not only come up with new concepts, but also maintain and enhance existing assets, all to continuously strengthen the digital identity of the Solera brand.

This volunteer would be a part of our Global Marketing team located in our corporate offices in Westlake, TX. Our ideal candidate will create innovative marketing materials from concept and illustration, to the preparation of finished designs. Loves building brands, translating complex information into human-oriented solutions and has a desire to use design to create a global impact. Will be involved in all phases of creative development, with a focus on creating amazing assets on all the company’s digital channels.

          

               

Position 80s

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The 80s)

  • Contributes to the creative department through designing marketing materials such as collateral, infographics, web elements, and other brand assets
  • Innovates, concepts, designs and brings next generation of products and projects to life
  • Designs marketing solutions for external brands and organizations, as well as Solera’s corporate brand
  • Designs and delivers presentations for CEO and other members of Executive Team
  • Creates original graphic content that appeals to a wide variety of audiences
  • Attends meetings with stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems
  • Assists in production of video, print, and web materials as needed
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
  • Enhances site appearance by developing and enforcing conteand display standards
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Knows and shares best practices within own team, and across all Solera departments

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or comparable portfolio and experience
  • Previous experience with a consumer facing Brand
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing digital creative and interactive media
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite to create drawings/graphics/logos
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced team environments
  • Ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills, especially in time and resource management
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects that are global in nature under extremely tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
  • Expertise in designing websites, display ads, and emails
  • Ability to quickly and effectively communicate concepts through sketches, storyboards and wireframes
  • Video / animation experience a plus (but not required)
