What You’ll Be Doing

 At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

  1. Design programs that are business-led and reinforce the Solera Way across the enterprise; provide programs that support differences across our “do it right”, “do it better”, and “do it different” volunteers to improve performance and engagement across our volunteers
  2. Provide tools, analytics, and training to our leaders to enable them to proactively identify training priorities and improve workforce productivity and engagement
  3. Create program to effectively onboard new volunteers in the Solera Way and our products, culture, and drills; deliver 80-probable managers who can effectively train and qualify their volunteers to deliver against their goals and raise the bar

 Additional responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conduct training needs assessments, in close cooperation with leadership.
  • Determine/develop objectives to be accomplished by training; the objectives will form the criteria for measures of success. 
  • Assist with vendor research/assessment, selection, and coordination for external training.
  • Work closely with executives, management, human resources staff and employees to ensure that courses are valid in content, timely, viable, and support company goals.
  • Create, coordinate and participate in the development of new employee orientation program.
  • Conducts the new hire orientations, as available.
  • Work with hiring managers and HRBPs to ensure that new hire onboarding plans exist, are being followed, are effective, and recommends best practices, etc.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness. Oversees the quality of delivered training sessions by external vendors.
  • Monitors the best practice in the training area and introduces it in the organization.Builds the internal network of internal trainers and organizes Train the Trainer sessions. Participate in Train the Trainer sessions, in order to train Solera employees, as required.
  • May plan, organize, develop, and conduct/ implement a range of training activities, may include creating teaching materials and custom learning literature.
  • Works with leadership to develop programs that groom employees for their next assignment and/or position.Helps develop budgets for training initiatives.


Are You Qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training, Organizational Development, HR or related field
  • Minimum 5 years related experience creating, implementing, and evaluating a variety of content driven training and development courses.
  • Strong training, facilitation, presentation, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of training plan, curriculum, and aid design and development, including exposure to e-learning
  • Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology
  • Knowledge of testing and test development/skill assessment
  • Ability to lead discussions and focus groups
  • Output focused with the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
