Solera is currently seeking an experienced individual to manage the release coordination team for Solera North America Production Operations. This position will report to the Release Manager.

We have recently reorganized our IT department at a North America level and are looking to expand the release management role into all our business units. This role is an exciting opportunity to help define the tools, processes, and procedures to be used for release management across our organization.


As a release coordinator, you will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with IT, development, and business teams to ensure successful change and release management.
  • Maintain and communicate release management schedules across multiple environments.
  • Partner with development to ensure readiness prior to code deployments.
  • Develop release implementation plans to ensure accurate documentation of changes.
  • Ensure all changes to production are orderly, communicated and with minimal disruption.
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the business as required.
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.
  • Continually work towards making improvements in existing release processes.
  • Lead and coordinate production deployment activities including the execution of release plans.
  • Lead and participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience 4 or more years of experience in an IT or change coordination role.
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with change management software.
  • Experience using Service Desk, Incident and Problem Management tools such as Remedy, CA or Service Desk Plus.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 27001 and SOX compliance regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with an extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple high priority items in tandem.
  • ITIL foundation understanding.
  • Ability to react quickly and to manage multiple high priority items in a stressful environment.
