Are You Uncommon?

The Compensation Operations Lead will help drive business process and policy improvements with the compensation team while insuring they link with the HRIS system. This role is the compensation point person for our HRIS system, providing day-to-day user support, systems configurations and integrations, as well as reporting and troubleshooting assistance. This position drives the collaboration efforts with HR Management, team members and cross-functional teams to analyze and improve business processes while leveraging the return on process improvement and technical capabilities. This role helps design and build project plans, adheres to project schedules, and maintains a systems orientation. They can work effectively with peers and management to set process improvement and technology priorities which will thereby support compensation strategy & planning.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive and manage the compensation business process integrations within our HRIS systems
  • Work on system enhancements that improve the employee and business partner experience while maximizing the use of HRIS system features and functionality
  • Support use of the HRIS system, troubleshoot system issues and provide detailed analysis for resolution
  • Support the definition and documentation of business requirements, processes and use cases
  • Provide management with ways to improve current business processes
  • Work with management to determine ways to improve current business policies
  • Participate in all test phases – unit, system and user acceptance; draft and execute test scripts to ensure that no defects are released into production
  • Assist in the rollout of new functionality, including the completion of workflow diagrams and support of pre-and post-launch implementation activities
  • Provide communications to project members on progress and issues; assist in providing regular communications to end users and stakeholders
  • Ensuring we are “Doing It Right” with testing and implementing HRIS controls

Qualifications

Are You Qualified?

  • 5+ years experience in HR, HRIT or related field utilizing and/or supporting HR systems
  • 3+ years of HRIS admin or implementation experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with HCM; compensation or payroll
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing, implementing and maintaining HR compensation systems
  • Demonstrated program ownership and delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
  • Has examples of improving operational processes and procedures, can drive program efficiency and understands the value of high customer satisfaction levels
  • Experience with identifying and resolving issues – ability to be relentless in finding the root cause of an issue
  • Customer service orientation with a desire to exceed expectations – ability to serve multiple customers and deliver an excellent user experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization
