    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Project Planning and Execution -  Lead the proposal, planning, implementation and management of large-scale projects including: facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables; gather project tasks and resource requirements; track capital/expense labor hours, conduct procurement, monitor budget, risk mitigation, issue resolution and changes needed to achieve project success criteria
    2. Project Communications Develop and plan communication strategies to ensure status, activities, accomplishments, issues, changes, and risks are communicated to senior management, project stakeholders, and IT teams proactively
    3. Process Guidance Provide project leadership, direction, and support to project teams. Tailors the project process, tools, and techniques to meet unique project needs. Identifies opportunities for improvement and contributes best practices and thought leadership to the PMO

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified?

    • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required; Masters preferred
    • PMP or equivalent project management experience and education required; additional experience or certifications preferred in Agile, ITIL, SCRUM, SAFe, LEAN Six Sigma, or DevOps
    • Minimum 7 yrs of progressive technical project management experience (e.g. infrastructure projects, data center migrations, disaster recovery, ISO 27001/SOC/SOX compliance, virtualization and stabilization) with proven track record of successful project delivery
    • Demonstrated expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the proven ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project
    • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools: Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office 365 applications (e.g. SharePoint team sites, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, Microsoft Teams, PowerBI, OneDrive, Planner, etc.)
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
