    We’re on the hunt for an experienced Social Media Manager who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed. The Social Media Manager is charged with leading the social strategy, managing social executions and brand voice, generating brand awareness, inbound traffic and engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, forward-thinking, and data driven.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    • Work with PR agency to develop and push out press releases and garner coverage for other media worthy events/topics
    • Ability to write and edit content that is engaging and on brand with a superb attention to spelling and grammar
    • Monitor competitive and related social content for items that may impact our business; Lead social media strategy and execution across all social platforms
    • Create, edit, publish and daily content (text, images, video or HTML)
    • Create and manage social media content calendars and ensure they are in line with corporate calendar/events
    • Facilitate, cultivate and moderate all user-generated content
    • Manage execution and reporting on paid social campaigns
    • Monitor and leverage social trends for strategic planning
    • Conduct competitive research and benchmarking

    Additional responsibilities of the role include:

    • Provide graphic support
    • Monitor industry issues and competitive landscape to adjust company positioning and messaging as required
    • Continue to assist in Garage deployment, and drive user adoption through email, content and other communications
    • Maintain marketing POs
    • Manage intern(s)

    Qualifications

    Are You Qualified?

    • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, English, Public Relations (or related field)
    • 5+ years of experience working with and overseeing social media for a b2b and/or b2c company – preferably in the technology space
    • Expertise with Social Media Management Systems including page management, social listening and analytics (e.g. Sparkcentral, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, TweetDeck, Facebook Insights, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Photoshop editing, Video editing, GIF production and HTML/CSS a plus
