There is an opening for our GD&C offices to be based at Solera offices in Dallas. These role exists within the team that develops global services and solutions and is part of an ambitious new program building within the agile concept our future

Position 80s

  • Lead expert in paint repairs on today’s most advanced automobiles  
  • Support the Development and Training Teams at the Solera Technical Center
  • Ensure that Solera offers the most relevant training in the automotive industry

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Perform entry to advanced level work in the inspection, diagnostics, repair, and service of today’s vehicles
  • Knowledge of: methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks
  • Assist with the operations of the training center that include: inventory, vehicles, room setup, service center contacts, phone calls, scheduling, tool and equipment 
  • Must be able to work independently in limited supervision environments
  • Work directly with technicians during training courses
  • Comply with all Solera safety rules, guidelines, and standards
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet project deadlines
  • Responsible for supporting curriculum developers as Subject Matter Expert
  • Able to travel and nationally and internationally to support training needs

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Mechanical Master Technician, preferred – minimum 5 years' experience
  • Work in a team-based environment to achieve common goals
  • ASE Certifications a plus
  • Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance as an automotive technician
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook experience a plus
  • Capable of driving a fork lift
  • Able to apply for, or have a valid passport
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware, tools, instruments, CAN or similar protocol
  • Valid Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience and insurable
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent: Associate Degree or Certificate from Vocational School in Automotive Technology preferred
