We are currently seeking an accounting professional with a background in financial accounting, analysis, and reporting, to join the Global Accounting team. Position 80s

What You’ll Be Doing

Core Mission 80’s

  • Analyze revenue contracts to ensure revenue is recorded in compliance with US GAAP.
  • As part of an implementation team, research, implement and communicate effect of the adoption of the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606).
  • Ensure worldwide compliance with and proper application of US GAAP technical accounting rules and requirements in terms of revenue recognition, including accounting analysis and documentation/communication of complex transactions and developing and leading training and education drill.
  • Assist with review of monthly and quarterly P&L account fluctuation analysis for revenue and related expense accounts.
  • Review and advise management on contracts and upcoming sales orders and assess proper revenue recognition treatment.
  • Assist in preparation of management reports, including revenue & margin analysis and metrics, in close coordination with the FP&A team understanding business insights
  • Assist with development and evaluation of revenue policies that align with the business.
  • Lead continuous review and improvement of revenue systems and business processes to increase efficiencies and shorten the closing cycle.
  • Monitor relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Core Mission 20’s

  • Assist in preparation and filing of quarterly and annual reports, other periodic reports, including
  • preparation of supporting schedules, ensuring appropriate revenue related disclosures are made in accordance with US GAAP disclosure rules and requirements.
  • Assist with schedule requests for the external audit process on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Support the management and oversight of the annual internal audit compliance process as it relates to revenue related controls, including providing 20 support on the development and implementation of drills intended to promote the operationalization of internal controls in compliance with the 80/20 principle.


Are You Qualified?

  • 5-7 years of experience, public accounting background or experience in revenue recognition at an international publicly-traded company is preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting.
  • Prior revenue recognition experience is required.
  • Active CPA license or pursuing CPA license is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the tech industry is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and ability to be detail oriented and organized. Strong interest in technical US GAAP, including a solid foundation in accounting analysis and ability to read and understand US GAAP guidance.
  • Strong initiative and desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be a self-starter with
  • excellent time and project management skills. Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify areas of risk and inefficiency, and determine process improvement
  • opportunities to address such risk and inefficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work
  • relationships at all levels within the Company.
  • Proficiency with Citrix / Cognos financial reporting software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
