Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed.  You will serve as the Manager of Marketing - Fleet.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission.  The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission.  The mission 80’s for this role, are:

    1. Manage annual marketing planning and execution for Fleet and Insurance markets
    2. Maximize lead generation for the fleet segment
    3. Manage product marketing tactics on insurance segment


    Additional responsibilities of the role include:

    • Work with Senior and Executive Management, Product Management and Sales to develop and implement a long-term and annual marketing strategy as well as a marketing and communication plan in accordance with business objectives.
    • Develop and manage all internal and external communication materials such as product brochures, fact sheets and presentations; press releases and quarterly customer magazine; newsletters (internal); technical product documentation; etc.
    • Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to develop value propositions and go to market strategies for products and services. Ensure positioning, major messages and brands are consistently and appropriately represented in all deliverables in conformance with company guidelines.
    • Develop, implement and manage Internet presence (including website).
    • Manage all marketing projects/programs and 3rd party resources
    • Provide metrics based on objectives for all projects/programs, and evaluate the performance of the program against these objectives. Make recommendations for timely adjustments based on changes in marketing objectives and market conditions.
    • Coordinate all tradeshows and ensure availability of appropriate marketing and promotional materials.
    • Develop, execute, evaluate and report on market research projects.
    • Provide monthly marketing department statistics and activities reports.
    • Serve as liaison for Corporate Marketing and Communications.
    • Manage and facilitate contact with the Press.
    • Manage junior marketing resource


    Are You Qualified?

    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business or associated field; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MA).
    • Ten or more years of professional experience
    • Diverse experience in B2B marketing utilizing traditional and digital tactics to reach decision-maker
    • Demonstrated success in Top Down marketing – identifying, targeting, and reaching largest customers
    • Experience and expertise in latest digital marketing and analytics
    • Experience in developing creative and working with 3rd party creative
    • Direct experience in marketing communications planning, creative direction, printing, electronic media, public relations and associated areas.
    • Experience in integrated marketing communications planning and programs, including social media.
    • Strong writing and presentation abilities.
    • Self-starter and innovative thinker.                  
    • Ability to drive marketing communications planning and processes.
    • Interpersonal and influencing skills (across organizational levels and geographies).
    • Action/problem solving orientation, able to work independently.
    • Fluent with using tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other presentation software experience and skill.
    • Up to 20% travel
