  • Mission

    The HRIS Administrator primary missions are to lead & drive HRIS initiatives, providing Tier 1 support to the organization and serving as the point-of-contact for the Workday Production Support team in Europe.  This person will be responsible for managing the creation, maintenance, and editing of on-going system roles as well as be responsible for determining what roles employees will be granted in the Workday Service, performing periodic audits to ensure users are regularly reviewed, and providing guidance on system security capabilities.

    • Analyze company needs, gather functional requirements and work with vendor(s) and/or internal developers to design systems and tools
    • Recommend and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system
    • Implement, test, and maintain the company’s legacy and future HR applications and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information
    • Maintain, develop, and revise all manuals, tables, code lists, and documentation related to Workday. Design, build and test Business Processes within Workday
    • Participate in the development and delivery of training to a multilevel end-user population on system use and related human capital best practices
    • Ensure we are “Doing it Right” with testing, implementing and upholding HRIS controls and best practices
    • Understand and leverage all the Workday integration tools – Packaged Integrations, Workday studio, Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Document Transformation, etc.
    • Must be flexible to work extended/flexible hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc., as necessary

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Human Resources or related field is required
    • 5+ years’ progressive experience utilizing and/or supporting HR systems: experience with Workday HCM is required with implementation experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with system implementations, migrations, testing and upgrades required
    • Experience with ADP, Concur, iCIMS, and Microsoft office preferred
    • Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, processes and experience with application tools
    • Strong knowledge and experience with various functions of Human Resources systems required (i.e. payroll, benefits, time and attendance, compensation, performance management)
    • Solid knowledge of report writing components required; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (i.e. pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, charts)
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and data
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point
    • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical users
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
